RealPage Makes History, Celebrating Largest Giving Campaign

During this unprecedented year, RealPage stepped up to “Fill the Need” around the world, launching its first-ever virtual giving campaign to raise money for those with food and housing insecurities, the elderly/seniors, and education/students. During RealPage’s annual Month of Impact campaign, employees’ outpouring of generosity made this RealPage’s most extensive giving campaign in its history. RealPage set out to raise $750,000 during the month-long giving campaign and employees donated $922,670, exceeding the company’s giving goal by 23 percent. The company generously matched an additional $300,000, bringing the combined donated total to $1,222,670, exceeding RealPage’s giving goal by 63 percent, and benefitting 420 501(c)(3) nonprofit charities globally. Nearly 38 percent of all donations supported charities focused on food or housing insecurities and education. Company-wide, RealPage organized 30 impact events, both distanced and virtual. For example, employee resource groups held food and clothing drives, while teammates in Colombia collected school supplies and teammates in the Philippines hosted virtual concerts and comedy events to raise money for the cause. Virtual volunteer opportunities included assisting the American Red Cross and the VNA Meals on Wheels programs, sending cards of encouragement to seniors during quarantine, and creating digital stories for sharing with underprivileged children. Collectively, RealPage employees served 1,117 volunteer hours during the campaign. The international giving focus for 2020 was the United Way of Hyderabad and their school transformation program. RealPage India has worked to revitalize one school and is preparing to assist and transform two more in 2021.
